Residents discover an immersive trail blending video mapping, music and a poetic universe, following the story of Aëla, an autumn leaf, through several visual scenes ranging from an enchanted forest to a luminous final celebration. Together, these create a magical, convivial and fully accessible atmosphere, encouraging exploration and rediscovery of the city.
Designed as a turnkey show, the installation integrates easily into your existing events, with manageable technical requirements. It also fosters civic participation and community cohesion, notably through lantern workshops that allow residents to contribute directly to the experience. Finally, the video mapping showcases your architectural heritage by transforming emblematic facades into the canvas of an immersive artistic creation, revealing your territory in a whole new light.
Artistic Statement
The Night of the Golden Leaves was born from a desire to offer a fresh perspective on autumn festivities. Rather than opposing Halloween celebrations, the project explores another facet of the season: that of European traditions rooted in nature, light and seasonal transitions.
Drawing from Celtic stories and autumn rituals, CREATIV LIGHT has imagined a poetic and unifying moment, where people gather to celebrate the transformation of the landscape and the magic of the season in a gentle and luminous way.
Performance Synopsis
Deep within an enchanted Celtic forest, a small leaf named Aëla begins to feel the shiver of the Autumn Call. As each year unfolds, the trees are adorned in gold and the leaves fall gently to the ground, one by one. But Aëla, curious and brave, is not yet ready to let go. She has heard whispers of something ancient and forgotten: the Night of the Golden Leaves, in which fallen leaves become living lanterns, guiding the spirits of nature into a new cycle.
This year, something feels different. Ancient spirits and guardian animals await the revival of a lost tradition, one where leaves transform into masks, lights, and dances, celebrating the passage into winter and the rebirth of the earth.
Guided by the Wind of the Equinox, Aëla sets out on a magical journey. She soon learns that falling is not an end, but a metamorphosis, awakening the memory of the forests, the magic of the season, the joy of renewal, and the power of gathering as one.
